If you are here, I am pretty sure that you must be thinking, “Is this blog going to help me in any sort of ways?” So, let me clear it up for you, “Of course.”

I am Sarita Bisht, definitely a college student. I am pursuing agriculture hons, and I am a fourth-year student.

I know when you first start your college, it can be very different in all sorts of ways than anyone can imagine. Being away from home, family, friends, and the familiar surroundings. But trust me, all these years are going to be your best experience. You are going to love this journey without even realizing it.

How to Survive?

1.Remember: No one knows anything about you, and that’s the best part. Even the famous guy or girl from your school; nobody knows that they were famous. In the same way, nobody knows how shy you were. It’s like a blank page for your new chapter in which you write whatever you feel like.

2. Talk to everyone: Making friends will help you in all sorts of ways, rather than sticking to your own programs. Make friends of all the programs. I think we all know this.

3. Get involved on campus: This is a great way to meet new people, make friends, and learn new skills. There are clubs and organizations for all sorts of interests, so you’re sure to find something you enjoy.

4. Build a hobby: By this, I mean you don’t want to get caught up in studies only. I mean there should be something to make you feel alive in the best way possible, right?

5. Take advantage of campus resources: The library, tutoring center, and other campus resources are there to help you succeed. Don’t be afraid to use them!

6. Don’t be afraid to ask for help: If you’re struggling in a class or need help with something else, don’t be afraid to ask for help from your professors, TAs, or classmates.

7. You don’t have to figure it out right now: Trust me; this was the greatest advice I had received from one of my seniors. So, go at your own pace.

8. Talk to your professors about your career goals: They can offer you advice and guidance on how to achieve your goals.

In the end, college can be a challenging but rewarding experience. It is not just about earning a degree; it’s about discovering who you are and who you want to become. Take every opportunity to learn, grow, and make lasting connections. Your future is bright, and I’m confident that you’ll not only survive but thrive in college. Best of luck!
